my cd/mp3 player skips occasionally and also will sometimes stop recognizing my cds. sometimes i can re-insert them and it fixes the problem, other times i have to make a new cd. i took it to the dealer and they said they performed a diagnostic check and it checked out, so they won't replace it. is that true?

i have 500 more miles until my factory warranty expires, then i am on CPO, and CPO does not cover the radio. i would like them to replace it. is that possible? thanks for any help.

Does it do that funky skippin' w/ real/original CD song? It maybe possible to have them do warranty work if you can proof it ... if it skips w/ real/original CD and the dealer can re-create the problem they should replace it, it'll be tricky w/ burned CD as the dealer will just blame it on that.
