My Ride: 2007 e60 530i
HELP sport shifter not working!!!!
I've searched a few threads even PM'ed some members and still no solution. When car is in D(drive) the light next to the D is not illuminated, however everything seems to be working normally. When I move the shifter to the sport shift side same effect car remains in (drive) no illumination on the sport shift side. This is extremely frustrating!!

Take the trim off and see if the "ribbon" is plugged in under the stick shift...

makes sense but wouldn't the other lights not illuminate as well as the m/s?*the lights for the other gears illuminate (D, R, N, etc.)
I'm going to do check that out hopefully thats it.
