Unhappy

Hi guys,

When I bought my car I assumed that the SPEECH RECOGNITION - VOICE CONTROL which is in German (since I bought my car in Germany) cannot be changed to English unless I buy a new hardware module.

But I heard from someone that it may be possible to change - though he didnt know how.

Does anyone here know HOW ?? I cant find it in the menu.

Please help !

Ronald

It's a software update. I had the voicerecognition built in afterwards by my dutch dealer. They gave it the german voice. I complained and they changed it too English.

Hi.
Yes its a software update, I have done mine from German to English, but it took 13 hours, because you have to update all CIP-software before you can switch language, and some failure at first attempt.

It is just an update in the software, it takes 10 minutes if you aren't going to update the whole CIP as well
