Hi I have a bmw E60 520d 2007 model.

So today was leaving a car park went over the speed bumps on the way out, and had this horrible knocking noise, still done it fora bit after these bumps and then when I was leaving a friends place done it agian but between then was ok.

also to add last year I did have a side hit but had checked everything out and was ok.

any ideas what it could be?
i have been using the car all this morning and was ok was, then it happened.

 

You (or a mechanic) need to get under there and have a look-see.

 

i have had a look underneath, can’t see anything obvious, didn’t do it’s lastnight as nosie as it did during the day.
