MY car will not start i dont know why. it wont crank at all..

i think its an electrical problem because i changed the battery already... the service guy told me it might be the kill switch because i had an error saying there is an airbag malfunction... now i know there had been a discussion already abiout the recall but my car is not under the warrenty nor did i recieve a letter.

the weird thing was that the car started in the morning with the malfunction i stopped to get gas and it wouldnt start i got a jump it didnt start then a few moments it started again...

then the next day same thing happened except it hasnt started for 5 days now i have no idea what to do...

the power is there its just that nothing happens when i turn the key

i have an 04 530 has anyone had this problem... please help let me know what you might think the issue maybe..

I just had this problem with my car. With mine it was the battery. When it happened my air bag sensor and front light parking light malfunction came on. Had it owed to the dealer and they replaced the battery and did a drain test over night. How lonf ago did you replace your batery?

You'd better have them come and do it. Anything that involves the battery is a bit
tricky on the E60. Good luck.
