Can anyone help me please. My "BC" button on the indicator stalk is not alternating between the normal avge mph ; avge mpg ; miles remaining to next fill up.
It is stuck on miles remaining and I'm not sure what to do.
Obviously can get it booked in to a dealer, but would rather ask here first.
I'm hoping there is ome sort of reset I can perform, or maybe disconnect/reconnect the battery. Please can anyone advise.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Grudge,
It's the Easter holiday weekend in the United States so many forum members may be spending the day with family.
I suspect that there is a mechanical or electrical issue with that switch on the stalk. Try gently "tapping" it a few times ... tap tap tap .. to see if that resolves it. If it's problem is deeper in the electronics, I'm not familiar with any shortcut to reset. [In other words - the "ctrl - alt - del" equivalent for a PC] And if your car is still under warranty, it is something they are probably going to have to fix. In my past experience with other steering stalk operated devices the problem was usually a mechanical failure of the switch or an undone connection between it and whatever it was supposed to control.
Good luck with trying to sort it out w/o dealer intervention - at least it wasn't a more crucial issue like your lamps set to high or undipped.
