As per the title.

I have just bought an M5 paddle steering wheel. I am fairly sure it's the correct pre Sept 05 wheel same as my car. I was under the impression that a couple of companies did this work (their websites claim they do) or a local BMW specialist could do it no problem but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Anyway, I have the wheel, airbag, trim and a slip ring although to be honest I'm not convinced the slip ring is the correct one because the part number comes back as for a 7 series when I google it and the Indie I took it to didn't think it was the right one either.

I'm based in Chesterfield but don't mind travelling.
