HELP!! I'm not sure now what color to get!
Hi Teutonictrio,
How about Monaco Blue with Beige leather? We thought about Auburn but didn't like the black seat backs, too much contrast and too many colors in the interior with the poplar wood and all. Carbon Black and Beige leather would have been the ultimate for us if it was available in the US.

I looked at a carbon black in Canada...it was not nice at all I didn't think. It looked like a bad metallic blue. May have been nicer to see it in bright daylight...but still, blue is blue. Every last little smudge stuck out like a sore thumb.

I have a dumb question. What exactly are the visible differences on an M5 compared to a 550i?? Other then exhaust and M5 badging is there really all that much? I was under the impression it was the same exact body?

My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
When talkinh about colors I always put in my 2 cents for the rare deep green. Just got mine today and the color is awesome. It is darker then the old green from last year. I'm hoping to start a trend.

My Ride: 2008 Sapphire Black on Black M5 - loaded sans soft close doors
While I am a huge fan of blue, the Mystic was too bright for my liking - especially on the e60. Personally the Monaco blue is too dark, but damnit, I was getting blue!
Titanium Grey is a very cool color and would have been my second choice.
BTW, I didn't think you could get the titanium trim in the 550?
PS - the mystic blue E60s on here with the aero kit do look good - especially with the M5 wheels.

Get the mystic blue with the m-kit
True, mystic blue gets dirty rather quickly in the winter time much like black
but once it's clean again all smiles

Have you seen the Auburn interior with the Popular dash? I just took delivery of a Monaco Blue with Auburn, Popular wood and anthracite headliner and the M aero kit. I am very biased, but I think the interior looks dinamite together. I was a little sceptical of this combination, until I took delivery. I've had people coment on how mush they like the interior, comparing it Lexus show cars. (this comment was from my sister in law who models at auto shows and drives an xj8). If you get this interior, definately order the antracite headliner, it makes the interior complete.I love the Monaco blue, but so far it has snowed almost everyday since delivery, and it does look dirty. The few time when it has been clean, "WOW".
I'm sure the Mystic blue would look similar. If I can get my digital camera working again, I'll post some photos.
I need to see those pics. How do you order the special color headliner? I need to see pics of the anthracite headliner because that is the exact interior I plan on getting and maybe even the exterior. I am between Sapphire and Monaco on the extierior, but have already decided on the Auburn.
Pics please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
