So right before I sell my car the trans malfunction comes on. New salmon relay, new battery, new smg ecu. Still the car will go into 1st and wont shift out. The shop pulls the trans and the clutch is toast. while out we have purchased the clutch position sensor, and the other sensor on the top of the transmission. I cant find a clutch anywhere! ECS tuning has one for $1,800 for the parts. I see the M5 has a rebuilt clutch option for $700. I dont see this for the 550i.

Any help on where I can get a new/used.rebuilt clutch and pressure plate, Thanks.

 

What year/Production date? I would get an aftermarket one from LUK or Sachs for around $650 and call it a day if not you will be looking around $1700 for it.
