Default Help!! error messages in the middle of snowstorm!

Hey everybody,
I was driving my 2008 535xi back home from the store in the snowstorm when all of a sudden i got a screen full of errors. AWD, DSC, ABS, EBV MALFUNCTION. Please drive moderately. Then the car was fishtailing all over the place. My mods are DCI and procede rev3 v5 on map 2. The following are the codes I pulled from the BMWhat app:

5F3A
6E83
5463
55C3
A46D
E18C
E18F

Also, not sure if the problems are tied, but my idrive screen has had a problem twice in the past 3 weeks where it just continuously resets on BMW screen for a while til it finally comes on and works. Sometimes it changes my presets.

PLEASE HELP!

usually those many errors coming up at once point to a flat battery, and go away after a restart. Monitor the voltages in the secret OBC menu to check it's charging properly

Hey Thanks,
I read my voltage w the app and with the car not started it was at 11.8 I believe it was and 14.7 while running. When i shut the car off and then drive it again the errors are gone until i get on the gas a little or drive it for a bit then they reappear.

11.8's a little low, should be 12.2-12.6v unless it's below freezing in NYC right now?

try looking for the codes on here: EndTuning - BMW Codes
or on the internet, otherwise you're way better off

What's EBV stand for? Anyway, it could be a faulty wheel speed sensor, as ABS DSC rely on that sensor, maybe AWD and EBV depend on it too. If you're near him, see John @Motorcepts: Motorcepts :: Reinventing Automobile Concepts

He should have the proper diagnostic software that will actually tell you what those error codes mean. Or find someone near you that has INPA, DIS or ISTA and the OBD cable.

i had the same issue with all those error codes when temperatures dropped below 30s. i got my alternator checked and found that it wasn't putting out the necessary voltage. I got it replaced and has been working fine in the cold ever since. Check all your voltages and battery

I have gotten "high battery drain" a few times in the past couple of months due to leaving my wifi OBD dongle plugged in overnight as i forgot to unplug it. but have never had any issues w starting the car so i didnt think my battery was bad?

Based on the above 2 posts, I am guessing your alternator is on it's way out, it's not recharging the battery.

You will need to find out what's making that noise - start with checking alternator.
Take a voltmeter and check the voltage under the hood while the engine is running. Anything below 14V, replace the alternator.
Then charge the battery with a trickle charger....

so i took the car to auto zone and had them plug their meter to my battery in the trunk. the battery tested out good and the alternator passed as well.
