hi all
i have 530d 2004 year bulit and 125000kms. i have back from trip and on idrive display shows warning meessase "emissions fault"...and on dash board came yelow light of engine....i try push a gas pedale but i didnt hear a turbo... and car dont have a power.... :'(
could it be a turbo failure???please help ..anyone..my dealer dont work tomorrow..must wait on wednesday...

 

probably a clogged or busted cat, you do have 125k on the clock, it can also be a busted O2 sensor. It sure is related to the exhaust system and the PCM/DME/ECU is reducing the power of the vehicle for safety. Dont worry your turbo is probably fine. However I know no words will calm you down right now, afterall we all do go crazy when it comes to our cars, so hope you get that fixed and let the dealer sort it out for you on wednesday.

pipe between intercooler and airintake broken ....so turbo is ok
