Check the turn signal lever. I think you activated the European parking lights that light up one side of the lights when the turn signal lever is clicked on with the car off.

Narrow streets no doubt. Our roads are so much wider in the US there's generally less danger of someone not noticing a parked car on the side.

Correct. Add to that the fact that we have much, much more streetside parking than you guys do across the pond - there is simply less space in cities and towns here.

Thanks - did not know that. Wonder then if in fact there then is a progman version which will enable this in pre-LCI cars. Anybody with a pre-LCI E60 which was programmed with the latest progman version?
