My Ride: Fully loaded 2010 BMW 550i M-Sport
Default New to the BMW family

Hello everyone,
I need some help I bought a 550i 2010 m-Sport and everything workes great she has 68k on her and absolutly in love. But please help me passenger side hood opens no problem when latch is applied but driver side won't open?? Tried applying down word force tried pulling let and rite nothin!!!! Please help please help

I'm not quite understanding you. The hood latches in the middle. There is no driver's or passenger's side.

Hood latches in the middle when I pull the leave the hood pops up. Then you go to the middle latch and it opens. But in my case when you pull the lever the passenger side pops and the driver side doesnt

The safety catch is in the middle but hood latches are on left and right.

exactly; the driver side doesn't pop up only the passenger side...... didn't know if there was a easier way to fix

Ok everyone just a update here:
The hood needed a latch on the driver side all cables where tight also I work for a BMW dealer had one of the MECH look at the car with a fine tooth comb and it came out perfect no leaks might need a new strut and tie rods in a year but other then that had the oil changed it was a bit dirty but other than that oil changes at 7200 miles.. extremely happy to know that I have found a great forum and thank you everyone for your help to my new BMW family.......
