So I decided to go to the dealer for a new battery and take the safe route.
Everything seemed fine but now my second key fob wont work at all and with my
main key fob the comfort access is not working! Kinda random after 5 minutes of trying
to start my car with CA it did? Then I tried again and it wont unless I put the fob in the ignition!
It worked like a champ before the new battery and the stealer does not think it has anything
to do with the new battery. Any Ideas? I have the exteded 2 year but im trying to fix without
going back to the dealer...

Take BOTH keys back to the dealer (along with the car!!). They need to program BOTH keys at the same time.

Programming the keys is something that may fix it but if all that was changed was the battery, it's strange that any programming would be needed (unless the dealer did some additional programming as part of the battery change -- which is somewhat likely.)

In any event, you should probably double-check that the fob batteries are good. Since you have CA, they're not rechargeable so it's possible that they need replacing...

Good luck!

I had a similar issue when I was experiencing my High Battery Drain warning. After they finally fixed my High Battery Drain issue by replacing the TCU (not the battery), I started having issues with my CA with my main key. I could only open the door with the key in my pocket intermittently. I thought it was the TCU and some programming issue but it was just the battery for the key fob itself. Just coincidentally went bad right after the TCU replacement. Hope that's your case as well and nothing major.

Glad to hear that it was an easy fix.
