Yes. Still under warranty.

The dealership called me and told me that they are ordering booster.
Hopefully that's it.

Dealer replaced booster and check valve and the problem still persists.

Some people say it's normal but if its normal, why doesn't it happen since day one? Why doesn't it happen to my other cars?

OH MY GOSH!

I am having the same problem, and its getting more frequent. Car is kept in my garage, so temps stay around 50-60. My car is a 2008 535XI.

This will be my 3rd trip to the dealer. I also had my fuel pump & gear shifter replaced. My friends are laughing at me.

This has happened to me when the car sits for awhile (several days). I don't think it has anything to do with cold weather since it happened in Atlanta during the summer months. It has never affected my ability to start the car and goes away right after starting. It has never really been a problem for me so I have just written it off as a BMW "quirk".

Please update us what dealer has to say. You may also demand check a few brand new cars on the sales lot to confirm if it's common to all E60s (I would never say it's normal).

In the meantime, I am asking forum members to kindly check their cars and report results on this thread - Just pay attention to brake pedal feel when you start your car in the morning (Is there decent travel distance when you press it?).

I posted separate poll for this purpose.
