Doesn't work on my car. The beep stays the same volume and the stereo volume goes up and down... anybody else tried it??
Try with everything else muted and just the PDC on.

Russ,

Turn the radio off first, select reverse and then adjust the radio volume knob.

I tried it this morning and it does work.

Let us know if it works for you.

No I don't.

You need PDC to be beeping before you adjust the volume.

My car is in the garage until Wednesday, I'm heading off to London for a couple of days so dropped the car off this morning and said "STOP MY BRAKES SQUEAKING" very politely, honest. I will try it as soon as I pick it up. When you say "switch the radio off", do you mean "mute", as it's not possible to switch it off.

Perhaps it only works on cars without Nav ... if nobody else tries and posts results here before Wednesday, I will do so.

Yes I do mean "mute".

I will have a play with it lunch time and see if I can write a bit more concise description.

Doesn't work - tried volume knob with mute on.

Regards,
OK here goes:

Put something real close to one of the front sensors, get in car, start engine, radio off (mute), press PDC button, keep in neutral.

PDC beeps and display is red. Turn radio volume knob clockwise to increase volume, anti-clockwise to reduce.

I did this just 2 minutes ago and there are at least 3 different volume levels.

Interesting, just tried mine but no luck. The difference is I had the radio on. Perhaps the radio on overrides the operation of volume control on the PDC. Will try again later with radio off (er, sorry Russ, muted...).
