Last Friday...just got home from a business trip in New Hampshire and parked out in front of my house. 20 minutes later as I'm driving by my parked car in my wife's Suburban I notice this huge dent in the drivers door. At first I thought it may have happened at LAX's Wally Park but their is no way I would have missed this so I realize my elderly neighbor must have hit it when she backed out of her driveway...luckily no one is hurt and she has insurance! It also bent out the top of the side window frame because now I can hear wind noise so I suspect the hinge needs realignmet too...I hope!

She was nice about it and admitted it...She is somewhat frail and wasn't shure how close she got but new she hit it and gave me here insurance info right away.

I just got back from Spectrum Collision (they told me they do the work for Irvine BMW) with an estimate: $2740!!! I have to go to my neighbors insurance adjuster (AAA) on Thursday to let them check it out too.

Damn that's not a cheap fix but good thing your neighbors nice enough to admit and take full responsibility of the damage or else it wouldve been a hit and run. Good luck with the repairs man.
