Hi I am new here can anyone please help with a gear box problem

I have a 535d m sport, the gearbox works fine but if it pull up at lights or a junction as soon as I stop with the brake on and gearbox is in drive it feels like the car wants to carry on driving but if I slip it into neutral then back to drive its fine
