Default E60 : High Beams and High Beam Assist not working don't know at what point it stopped

I have a pre-LCI car with Adaptive Bi-Xenons and High Beam Assist from the factory.

After many years of modding and coding today I realize that neither my High beams nor my High Beam Assist works! My wife has been driving the car for over 2 years without High Beams! The Halogen flash to pass still works and the High Beam light comes on on the instrument panel but the Xenons don't change. Nor does the High Beam Assist icon come on on the bottom of the kombi.

What do you think might be wrong?

I have an LM2 but with the pre-LCI headlights.

Anyone else have an E60 pre-LCI with LM2 and High Beam Assist who can send me a trace of the LMA?

flash to pass works all the time, high beams only work if the headlights are actually on.

I've coded bi-xenons, and now both the halogens and the xenon shutters open when flashing or using full beams - do you know if it's possible separate the two, so that flash to pass is halogen, and full beam is xenon?
I don't quite fancy the xenons lighting up only to switch off after a second when flashing people, causing premature wear...

Yes that is easy. Just remove the xenon flash to pass.

Damn it, I should have been clearer-

I enabled bixenon flash to pass. Doing this makes both the xenon shutter drop and halogen bulbs switch on when moving the indicator stalk both ways i.e. towards you for flash to pass and away from you for full beam driving.

This isn't great in the daytime when my xenons are off, as flash to pass ignites the xenon bulbs for a just 1-2 seconds, causing unnecessary wear on the bulb.

So is it possible to split the function and have:
1. When moving indicator stalk towards you, only halogens come on for flash to pass function
2. When moving the stalk away from you, the xenon magnetic shutters actuate, for full beam driving at night...

that's what I meant. It's a single line of coding that makes the xenons act as flash to pass. I think it's the line that says BIXENON.

But do a search and do the reverse of what the posts to enable it say.

you need to turn off

Did it over the weekend and it works fine - xenons and halogens for full beams, but halogens only for flash to pass.

thanks for the pointer!

To add to this..

I've got pre LCI xenons with LM2.. Is it possible to stop the halogens all together, so it's only my xenons that operate when you flash and on main beam..?

Thanks
