Heating Element inside Thermostat - Why????

Anytime you see a Red Alert on the dashboard, that means stop immediately when safe to do so, and get a tow truck to take you to a repair shop. Remember, this car has an all-Aluminum cylinder wall structure (with magnesium outer structure), aluminum heads, and NO iron anywhere, not even iron sleeves. That makes it vulnerable to major damage very quickly in the event of Electric Water Pump failure.

That problem is a lot different than the OBDII code I got, a thermostatic heating element gone bad. I"m still driving mine, and I have a ScanGuage which tells me temperature is being kept under control nicely.
