My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT
well i have them...... and by accident wanted to see how they worked..... and i got a pretty strong stream..... warm and burning stream to my eye... and if you spray it on a non rainy day..... it sure does leave major water spots on the hood..... fyi.... eric

I have them--cold weather package.
After having the car 6 weeks I have used them exactly............zero times.
Not a useful feature here in Central California. It hasn't even rained here since I got the car.

IMO you only need them in the winter, here in the UK they use a lot of salt on the road if snow or ice is forecast. After the melt the crap that gets thrown around covers your car and lowers your headlamp beam to a very low level.....i ordered them for this, and becuase it would really bug me to know that the covers are there but no washer....guess i paid ?185 for not much

yep, they work every 4th time (more or less) and just run by themselves when you activate the regular washers.? I have them with the US cold weather package, but they also spray quite a lot on the hood which I find annoying....

the 4th time you activate the main screen wash, with your headlights switched on...

In US, it comes with Cold Weather Package. Mine does not have CWP, and my bumper still have those cut-outs and no jet washers. I've heard that it's retrofitable, but plan for at least two hours installation cost.
