That's right.
Mine went out ~2-3 weeks after it turned purple.

Yah, that's more like pink.
Basically what happens with HID bulbs is that over age, they will color shift upwards and start losing lumen. Your passenger side is basically outputting like crap now and will probably go out pretty soon.
Should also replace them both as a set so you have uniformity.

Looks like D1S, need better picture. If your car is newer than 2004, you should have D1S.
And yes, order it online. Dealer wants over $500 for a set. That is just robbery.

If you check my post there's a link to a thread that was discussed before. I got ones from ebay (thanks AchtungE60 for the link) for $5 or $10 a pair. Only changed one bulb). The bulb has been in for almost a year, no problems whatsoever. Fitment was perfect as well.
