I've had this happen to me twice, first time dealer had to change out the headlight unit on one side with a new one (warranty). Second time it must have just been too cold, cuz it went away and started working again the next time I started up the car.

My car came with adaptive headlamps. I swapped in some OEM euro clears w/o adaptive headlamp feature and my LCM (green light) started flashing as well, so I would say yes, it most likely is adaptive headlamp malfunction. Fortunately, in my case I know exactly why the light is flashing and it really doesn't bother me. Unless you've changed your headlights out to non-adaptives like I have, there's probably an issue that needs to be researched. Reflash perhaps?
Well since im out of warranty I may take it in just to see what it is, if its a costly repair then Ill just leave it as is because it really doesnt bother me.
