My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
But if one is running on the "daylight running lights" on a LCI in the daytime
or don't have the headlights on at all, no washing will happen.
Meaning that only if the headlights are "on" the washers will activate.
The headlight washers uses a hell of an lot of fluid.

I didn't want to start a new thread, I have the cuts on my bumper but my sa said I don't have headlight washer, Is it not standard on 08 535I?

Hi,
A quick way to confirm if you have headlight washers is to look under the cap on the washer fluid reservoir.
If the label under the cap says 3L you don?t have headlight washers, if it says 5L you have!!!

Mine never come on if I do a very fast squirt for the windshield. If I hold it in for a bit, it'll wash the headlights, too. Otherwise, it won't go off if I don't want it to.

I do have Xenon's but my SA said i dont have it and it never worked.
