head up display too low help...

I just bought my second e60 this 1 has head up display but it seems to be too low.. im 5"11 not a short guy at all but i need to sit way up to see it... is there a way to adjust it or is it in 1 standard position. i hope theres a way around this id'd hate to have my seat sitting up high to be able to see it. any input is helpfull

There is a service procedure (see attachment below) that can adjust the HUD level. My understanding is that it can only be moved an inch or two but that might be enough. I have no problems with the height of mine but my wife does so I'm getting mine adjusted next week along with the upgrade to Progman 25.0.

Is your car a 2008? I seem to remember (or I dreamed it) that in the newer cars, the HUD is height-adjustable via the iDrive settings...
