having 2nd thoughts AGAIN!!!
so guys, been on the e60 forum, then changed over the e61 forum and am totally happy there. have an amazing car, totally loaded (the previous owner ticked off everything there was on that ordering form), lots and lots of power....
but believe or not, i am having second thoughts...i am getting 12l / 100km mileage on my car, and it is sad to fork out 75 EUR per tank to only manage 550km.... its not that petrol money is killing me (trust me, here in europe, petrol is a petite amoutn compared to road tax and car insurance here -> that amounts to 250 EUR per month), but I just find it sad to be throwing out money considering there are more economic solutions out there??? my g/f twice the better mileage on her golf tdi...
so what is the game plan? switch to a 520d maybe? what do you think? am i just having a pms
or is there some sense in what i am writing?

or is there some sense in what i am writing?whats the difference between road tax and car insurance between the bimmer and the golf? maybe you should consider the new 135 bmw?
the golf V roadtax with insurance is about 100 eur... the 135 will just be as expensive as a 535d - roadtax and insurnace here all is directly related to the hp of your car...
the 520d roadtax with insurance is about 80 EUR cheaper than a 535D + you also save on petrol consumption. i would say atleast 4l/100 easily, so if i do 1500km a month, you save another 80 EUR in gas. that is 160 EUR saving, so about 2000 EUR per year.... not much compared to what you lose in depreciation, but 2000 eur is still quite a bit...
