I would never do that. Too dangerous... its asking to be keyed.

I would curb hug instead... Preferably a right curb... most favorite curb to hug. The left one there is nice too no one in front of you to accidently put the car in D thinking it was in R.

What's with this guy.....because the parking lot is empty, and because his car is incredilby polished and waxed......he thinks he should get TWO parking spaces??

By the way, the owner of this car, after two coats of polish, and two coats of wax......

is NOW drinking several delicious dark ales

I thought about driving over to the coast to take some pics....but somehow.....beer sounded better
Unfortunately, there will be people out there that when they see a car parked like that they want to "teach you a lesson" and cut your car with a key - or something. All the owner of this car is doing is attracting attention to it and that's leaving him/her more open for a deliberate attack - most likely much worse than a door ding. Not a smart move in my view. Too many whackos out there.

Always try to find an end space and park as close to the curb as possible without being too obvious. You're going to have to live with door dings - most people just don't care when they throw their doors open, so park defensively without attracting too much attention to your ride.

That's my .02

Not if you are careful. I have no door dings yet. 30,000 miles, and had it since 11/2004.

Just have to park in end spaces, and hug the curb.

I guess no one really got my humor here.......after detailing my car all day, I was out running errands and thought I would take some pics while at the bank (ATM). It was Saturday, after 6:00pm, and I was the only one in the empty lot. I pulled in for all of about 5 minutes......I was just poking fun at myself in my original post......It's my car!!

I also believe that people get pissed off when they see cars parked across two spaces....so I never do that. I did it here because I wasn't leaving the car unattended, and I wasn't staying......I am so anal about where I park when I go somewhere because a lot people don't think twice about opening a door into your car, letting a shopping cart hit it, etc.......my family hates going places with me.....the can't understand why I pass up all the "good, close" parking spaces

Anyway......all I really wanted to do here was show some post-polish/wax shots of my ride....sorry for the confusion!

OK....now you are missing my tongue-in-cheek comments here, lol!! This was taken at about 6:30pm tonight in an empty bank lot!! Oh, and....yeah, it's my car

I agree however, I NEVER take two spots.....I just park really, really far away from anyone else
I like your car! I guess you need to change your name to kmslo550i now.
