2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car

Was off work yesterday so I decide to get up early and get an early start. Drag myself out of the house at 6 A.M. and it is pouring, get into the car turn the key and nothing, engine didn't even crank. Run back through the rain to get spare key and still nothing. Call roadside assistance, waited over an hour and then find myself sitting in this dirty disgusting tow truck stuck in traffic for next 30 mins for what is usually a 10 min drive to my dealer.
Arrive at the dealer to find that they have no spare cars left, so I tell them that I will wait, hoping that this will be a quick fix (don't want to be without a car all weekend) Anyways after 20 mins they come back and tell me computer says everything is ok, duh gee, first thing I checked was onboard computer. Well after an hour and a half they figure out that a contact on a wire leading to the starter was loose. So they fix it and off I go back into the rain.
I now find myself 15 mins from the dealer on a highway in a torrential downpour and all of a sudden bells start ringing and computer tells me I have a flat tire.
I pull over on the highway because the last time I got this warning I pulled over at the next exit and I ruined my tire which cost me $ 350.00 to replace. So I exit the car kick all the tires which seem hard, so I proceed to exit which was within eyesite
and call the dealer back. They tell me to drive the car back, so I tell them no problem however if I blow my tire they are taking care of it. So of course they tell me to call roadside assistance. Waited about an hour for the tow truck and of course it was the same driver with a huge grin on his face. Get's me back to the dealer and the mechanic tells me that they disconnected the battery when I was there ealier and I do not have a puncture, the computer only needed to be reset.
I wish the service advisors would have to take a course on I-drive, they could have told me this over thie phone and saved me a ton of aggrevation.
Ok , it's out of my system now.

Thanks for telling your story.
I have reached the point after having a piece of sh*& ML320 for four years and now an E60, that most of the errors/warnings that appear are not really problems at all, just minor issues that caused the electrical system or vacuum system to have temporary problems that aren't harmful to the car.
The problem is that I'm always tempted to let the problem go and see if it will just go away on its own. I've adopted the strategy of calling hte dealer right away and if they don't urge me to come it, I wait for it to happen a second time. At least with the ML320, if I brought it in everytime a check-engine-like light came on, I would have gone nuts.
You were a good trooper to patiently hang in there and wait for the tow after the tire pressure light came on. I think I would have told them to bring me a loaner on the spot and then ripped them a new one when I found out they didn't reset the system.
(Sad truth is- the squeeky wheel gets the grease.)

Man, I feel for you. If it was just plain unlucky you could live with it, but then some clown being incompetent and adding insult to injury... well...
