i just went to BestBuy and paid $35 had the Valentine1 hardwired near (under) the passenger visor never had issues goinf on 2 years. Wires are concealed all the way around, very neat job.

Glad that worked out for you. However, I would NEVER let anyone from BestBuy touch my car. I have a hard enough time having the BMW Dealer touch it. Hard Wiring a radar is about as easy as it gets.... I suggest everyone with a radar should do it.
