Good Q
Firstly, 9K km's a year means a lot of hours in the car![Doh](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/doh.gif)

Or does "saving the planet" have personal limits, like comfort and image?

I thought you were keen reducing CO2 emissions? Why not spend less on the car, less on fuel, generate less CO[sub]2[/sub].
Or does "saving the planet" have personal limits, like comfort and image?

Yes, in a way I'm up to modern requirements as a city person.
Driving a safe, comfy modern car with a not overpowerd engine saves bucks in the long run
and of course is a image thing also.
Only 9-12 K km's a year should tell you that I'm not into "driving only for cruising".
Since I'm pretty fortunate what comes to financial matters (worked my ass off for it),
I can drive a decent car, but I do also use a lot the collective traffic in my home town and in other cities I go to.
I'm not a planet rescuer and I do love the privacy of a personal car,
so a F10 523dA could meet my and the worlds new recuirements in the next decade.

For this car the word "lot of hours" dose not come in, I do about 11k km a year and that just in HK. I like to drive more, love the car so much.
