V12 Evo's are an incredible tyre, great value but cost aside I think they are just as good as the Continental SC3's i've got on my 520D now!! They are fantastic, wet or dry!

I had problems with Hankook tires and wouldn't recommend them either. Plenty of people run them with no trouble so I may not represent a large audience.

My Hankook tires went to 2 different shops, 7 balances, 4 were road force balanced and 3 of those were without the smart weight technology. I couldn't get them to balance for anything. We tried different machines at Discount Tire until I finally got so frustrated thinking it was the mechanics at DT and went to a different shop. Same results. I changed to Michelin tires and haven't had a problem since.

Keep in mind that Hankook tires are summer tires only and have NO tread warranty. For a little more money you get a mileage guarantee and all season.

Hey, thanks guys.

I've been looking on Tire Rack and reading alot of reports on different tires for my needs.

If I change sizes to 245/35/20 fronts and 275/30/20 or 285/30/20 rears these are my options:

There are 2 different Mich. available, the Pilot Sport A/S and the new Super Sport. They run about 1300.00
and have good reviews.

I also am looking at the Continental DWS. It's an all season performance tire and has great reviews.
Tire Rack Survey says, it has good ride quality, excellent tread life, good handling and it comes
with free Road Hazard warranty. They cost about 850.00. Not to crazy about the tread design though.

Bridgestone has 2 tires that sound good too. The RE760 [ 1000.00 ] and the RE960 [ 1200.00 ].
These have a good look with good reviews.

If I go back to the low profile 245/30/20 & 285/25/20 , then I will buy the Pirelli P-Zero Nero [ 1230.00 ]

My preference would be to upsize by one to give you a little extra cushion for the road. With 20's that could cause some additional rubbing, though. 285's shouldn't be any trouble in the back (I'm running 285's but have 19's).

I have the pilot sport AS tires and am quite pleased.

Hankooks are great summer performance tires, offering a soft feel great for + size wheels (20"). Treadware is another story, especially on the rear was atrocious after only 9k miles!

I know I have -ve camber wear, but not pleased with treadware.

I am putting on Continental DW today, trying out these for first time. I'll let u know how they are.

This was another one of my choices.
Will be interesting to see how they stack up against the Hankooks.
I've heard they are a pretty good tire and are moderately priced.
I might bit the bullet and get the Mich Pilot A/S or either the Bridgestone RE760 or RE960.
Everyone I've talked to, really like the Mich. but I'm not crazy about the look of the sidewall.
Let me know what you think of the Cont. DW.

Bar none, Hankooks are the best tires for the money. If your car has a wear from the suspension it is really not a fair assessment. I can speak from my own experience that the life cycle and the grip of Hankooks are really good!!!!

They are shit - wear out quickly and aren't really that good. come on guys, you get what you pay for and these are cheap stop gap tires at the best, cheap crap at the best. I had them and they wore out in less than 10k miles on the rear. JUNK, stay away from them.

LOL. Yeah, Hankooks wouldn't be all bad if they have higher treadware.

I dont even look at Mich Pilot A/S b/c of price points. As for the Bridgestone RE760, the weight on these turned me off 29 lbs for 19's, Conti is only 24-25 lbs.

btw, got the DW's today, too early to tell.

What size DW's did you get.
I like the look of that tire but I read some reviews that said it didn't last very long.
The DWS has good tread life but I don't like the tread design.
Now I'm totally confused.
