Great story. The Acura can be impressive off the mark, but can't compete with a 550 in the long run. When I had an 8 year old, I had an Acura Legend, which was a great car but I would never have taken on a BMW. Thanks for sharing.

I'll tell you the one place that Acura would have beat you.....up my drive-way in the snow
I used to have an Acura RL with the Super Handling All Wheel Drive. It was a punchy car but nothing like the 550. It doesn't surprise me that you smoked the TL. The one thing my RL did have going for it was the AWD. That is the one thing I will miss about the car. Put a 2 inches of fresh snow on the ground and my long upward sloped drive will bring my 550 to its knees.....
