Sorry to here that... I strongly believe in karma and its a bitch so the thief will get his 10 fold in his lifetime..... truly horrible... Hopefully your insurance company will give you good money for your car and wont think something is up since they came into your house for the keys... Good Luck with whatever the outcome might be...

Always makes me feel sick when I hear of people having their car stolen and especially a fellow member here, add to that a fellow Brit.

I hope you have a resolution to this soon, be it car returned or car replaced.

Good luck mate!

I remember reading an article recently where one uk crime expert advised people should leave their car keys downstairs clearly visible to avoid confrontation. I guess its better to let them break in an take the keys than break in, wake you up.. and who knows what would have happened???

Hope it works out for you.. was probably stolen to order and either broken up for spares or off on a container.

Good luck.

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, I AM SO SORRY.
I was reading somewhere that Rotheram in the UK has one of the highest rates of car-lifting, am really sorry to hear about your loss.
Hopefully it will be restored to you without any substantial damage.

I hope you have a decent replacemennt clause for theft. Really feel for you mate. Good luck with recovery, hopefully they'll pinch the jerk while he's moving your car. My brother's F350 was stolen last winter; police nabbed the guy 3 days later driving around like he owned it. In court, he claimed he had a roughlife and was economically deprived (had both arms covered in tatto sleeves at abouth 10,000$/sleeve).
