Well the car was perfect for the first 2500 miles, but now the softwear gremlins are taking over.
Rear window on driverside won't close. Goes half-way up than reverses and goes back down. Still open, can't get it to close.
Radio started playing by itself with key not in ignition.
Head lights won't go on and off with light sensor in daylight. Stay on steady and won't cycle.
All this in the space of two hours. The only thing I did, just before this started to happen, was I went into I-Drive and changed the various lock setting options. Wonder if this screwed things up. Tried other key hoping settings were different, but no difference.
I'll let it sit for a couple of hours and see if it re-boots, otherwise off to the dealer.
Anyone have a fix? I know others have had similiar problems, but not all of these at the same time. Told I have version 12 softwear installed.

Here is some general information about the power windows. Pay particular attention to the procedures outlined on page 4 called titled 'Indirect anti-trapping mechanism'.

It shows you how to initialize the stops for the windows.

Good luck!

P.S. - Isn't it interesting to know that there's a panic feature for the window closing? I guess you can chop off the carjacker's arm if you choose to!

I think that is when Daveyboy had his car built. That week may have some issues.

Rudy-- Thanks for reply and file to find stops on windows. Got window to go up as file suggested by holding button for a few seconds to override auto function.
Window closed and is now back to normal.
Auto light sensor still not turning lights off even in bright sunlight. Not important enough to bring to dealer for that alone. Everything else including radio back to normal.
Can only dial from phonebook at random times. Dealer said he will call me when softwear fix is avail. but had this problem since phone was installed. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.
Otherwise gremlins have taken a holiday.
