Glad you're OK! One of the reasons we got these cars.

Did the emergency blinkers turn on, doors unlock, and battery safety terminal get disconnected after the crash?

glad to know your okay. The bimmer did it's job. The car could be replaced but a person is not.

Thanks everyone for comments. The E60 did its job, I guess its all those three letter acronyms that helped save me. Still in shock and replaying event in my mind.
Expecting a phone call from insurance company to see how they want to settle the claim, not sure it'll be enough for another 535d right now.

No GAP insurance? I would consider it in furture. It's only about ?140 for 2 years.
