Got my recall letter today

Finally I got my recall letter for brake vacuum pump/vacuum hose. Ive had the car since august and was kind of worried Id get overlooked but it came today...I live in queens.

I just got mine today, too. I can't help wonder why they would only cover the hose replacement if the damage is actually caused by the vacuum pump leaking oil onto the hose. They must be replacing the hose with one that is oil resistant and then sticking the consumer with the cost of the pump repair / replacement. It seems kind of sleazy if that is the case.

Got mine too...only have 9 months left on lease. I am not sure it's worth the hassle to get it fixed. Brakes are working as of today!
