I have a 525 build date 9/04 CIP v15 software, no NAV. I have noticed a bug in the sw that causes the RDS setting to be reset from time to time.

 

I haven't noticed anything like that. RDS stays on the screen even with radio off (I wish it wouldn't). Could it be weak signal strength? Maybe something wrong with your antenna?

 

How long its take for update to V15??

 

A software update can be done in 2-4 hours.
Usually the dealer tells you, that it takes a complete day. That is, because they sometimes experience problems when upgrading. In such a case they have to start over again. They tell you it takes a day, so that they have enough time to do it, even if they are having problems while uploading the new software.

 

I too have noticed that bug as well. You'll turn on RDS, and then a few days later it will be back off. I have v 13.1 CIP. I figured they would have fixed that by now, but I guess not....

Does anyone else notice if the throttle lag was taken care of with V 15? I am excited and ready to take my car in ASAP!! Although I am used to it, the throttle delay has really bugged me with this car. It's hard to dodge in and out of traffic with this car.....

 

I ahve a similar issue as acribb but it only (I think) sets the rds OFF IF i play CDs for a while..weird .. so I guess i have V13 somthing as it was done a while ago... shoot no issue now..need to make up siomething for them to upgrade me to the next version...ummm
