WOW! What currency are we talking about here? It sure isn't dollars......What's your coversion rate?
I think these are really dollars. In my country, cars like E60s are a little more than twice as expensive than in the US.
I don't know about Bangladesh but I know that there are Asian countries where taxes on European cars are more than 300%, so I'm pretty sure that there are countries where you have to pay 300K dollars for a fully loaded V8 E60.

I had the same loaner, and that new shifters quality of materials feels very out of place. Cheap plastic, and annoying to figure out. The engine has a great note to it, and is peppy enough for the great MPG it gets. The suspension is what you said, mush, but you prob has the active rolll bars which make a huge difference. Its a nice car, but again, Id be disappointed spending 50k+ for it. BTW, the wheels on it look terrible for the pricepoint.
Just to cheer you up a bit: 50K dollars would get you a Ford Focus diesel here. And maybe maybe maybe a very basic BMW 1-series.

My point is: Enjoy your incredibly low car prices and buy sweet cars, don't spend time complaining about an E60 for $50K because many people (like me) are very jealous...

Hey 528, 550, 535, 545 - its a bimmer 5 series and its a thing of beauty. we drive these cars and browse these boards because these are special cars.

if you are happy with a used car then get the best one you can - your money will go farther that way no matter what country you buy in. if having something shiny and new is your bag, then get the best you can in that realm.

Point is - buy what makes you happy. I absolutely love my 4 year old 545 and i think about it lying in bed trying to go to sleep.

i hate to sound like a bmw salesman, but bmws are special. and if you enjoy driving a car then a bimmer can be your dream come true. with or without a sports suspension.

Yes, it is US Dollars..... Mind you, the dollar is weak against the NOK but the prices here is wild.....over half is taxes.

I concidered importing a car from the US..maybe a 525 but too much paperwork.
