Took my 535d to dealer to solve the transmission jerk/slam a couple of weeks ago. They installed 19.02 as a "cure".

The results:

1. The jerk/slam is still there

2. New problem with the CD player. When I turn off the car while a CD is playing the next time I start it the CD has advanced silently a couple of tracks. It seems to play silently on it's own for 5-10 mnutes.

3. The oil change interval changed. When I left the car it had 15000 on the clock and 17000 to go for the next oil change. When I got it back the I drive is showing 7000 kms to go. Is there a policy change for the oil change interval?

Any similar experiences?

I don't know what CIP I have but the software build date is somewhere in Sep05.

1. Not applicable.
2. I used to have this problem. Sometimes the CD player would make a lot of noise when I unlocked the door and then the CD function disappeared. Since the update last Friday, I have not had this, and the player would resume where it left off. What I have noticed is that, when on the engine, the idrive screen now flickers once, and when off the engine, the idrive will stay on a second or so more with the music playing. That leads me to think the on/off battery fluctuation may have been a cause. I just hope the player wouldn't return to its cranky self.
3. Did not have this. The reading stayed the same. In fact my radio stations setting was also restored properly. I have read the setting disappears after an update. Maybe they have changed that; maybe my CSA restored it manually.
