I was driving on the highway and suddenly got "Nav DVD read error". My dealer ended up replacing the CCC to fix this problem. They also upgraded the CIP to 19.02 which fixed the auto headlights turning on on sunny days problem.

I think it might be a good idea if we all put our problems and fixes in our signatures. It can help us easily fix problems we may have.

A comment on CIP 19.02. It appears to fix the initial hesitation when start the car from a complete stop.

Oh, did I forget to say I still love my e60....... and more and more everyday.

(does anyone know what CCC stand for?)

Great idea - hopefully I won't have much to fix when my baby shows up in Beantown...

That would make for some very long signatures...

if the signatures are that long then we need to think about why we plunk 60 grand for a car
with so many problems...

my lexus rx330 - first model year for this chassis - has had 0 problems - granted it's a numbing / isolated lexus ride (not always a bad thing through the traffic and potholes of boston) but
it has been a dream car with no headaches.

my 1995 e34 540i sport - was also an awesome, reliable steed, somehow the e60, awesome as it is in many ways, will have me gritting my teeth if this forum is any indication of the overall reliability of its electronics esp........

just my two cents.....
