Greetings All-

have been lurking for some time in order to educate myself on these cars prior to purchasing a 2006 e61 (was a priority 5 car) which was delivered about 2 months ago. just had my dealer optioned sirius installed and they updated the SW as part of the service visit to 19.02 - curious if anyone else has noticed that if you wait (~15-30s, haven't timed it), the disclaimer screen will now disappear all on its own. if this is a bug, it is the kind i can live with , though now i have to retrain myself, as "accepting" it upon ignition has become a habit.

Others have reported the same. I have 19.01.01 and have no such luck. And, welcome.

After tons of bugs reported, this bug is the good bug.

I still would like to be able to set my startup screen to have it come up to the page it powered down with.

Sorry but this isn't news. For non-NAV equipped cars the "Accept" screen will time out. On NAV equipped cars it won't. This change seems to be new as of 19 or 19.01 based on what others have reported.

I concur...it doesn't time out on my NAV equipped E60. Don't know about non-NAV cars.

I have also noticed that the screen comes on very quickly after the upgrade. It used to take a while earlier.

Long time lurker.. first time poster..

I picked up my 650i on Oct 19, so I would imagine that it is 19.02. I have the accept screen, but... on occasion it will not require me to confirm. I haven't exactly nailed it down, but it seems to occur when I have been out of the car for just a few minutes.

Just occured a few minutes ago. I stopped at a liquor store, bought a beverage and was back in the car within 3 minutes. No accept screen required.
