Glad you and your daughter are both okey.
Man that looks really bad, the entire rear door was nearly teared off.

What speed were you doing in the corner?

Good fucking grief!, that's a mess and no mistake. Glad your daughter is safe and you walked away as well. Reminds me of my crash last April, April 14th, A sad day., damn air bags go with a right bang, scared the crap out of me.

As others have said the most important things survived, I took it as a sign and got the M-sport I was longing for.. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts folks its really appreciated.

In answer to a couple of questions. I was doing about 60mph at the time. And maybe its the tyres i buy but i have always found the 535d a bit of a handful in the wet. Got some special snow tyres last winter for the rear that i got from a friend who works for a rally team. Special snow tyres made by Pirelli and written on the side "for world rally championship only" they only run them for one race and they were like new. It was like a 4x4! I was pulling cars out of ditches with a rope in 4 inches of snow.

Will be hunting for another e60 535d next week will post a pic when i get one.

Oh as a little extra information, i ran an insurance quote online. No protected no claims discount. And i currently have an £700 excess since the last crash. No company will touch me now without a £3000 excess unless i pay a very very large premium.

Dont blame them!!!!

Thanks again

Fraseman

I have the same problem, my insurance has gone up £200 and the accident wasn't my fault.
