My Ride: 2005 525i Titanium Silver Metalic and 2003 325xi Jet Black with the Premium Package in both cars.
Looking for an answer
2005 e60 525i 55k miles......out of nowhere last week I'm hearing this noise.....can't exactly ID where its coming from, sounds like under the dash, the only way I can explain what I'm hearing is....like a coin in a box bouncing .....maybe creaking, or a wire slapping up against something, I checked under the hood from the top of the engine to the bottom, could not find anything loose. Under the dash is blocked off so I can't get under there....I refuse to take back to the dealer, I'm out of warranty and I know what they will do to me to diagnose the noise.....LOL
It truly is making me nuts...its not all the time but most of the time...its really defined when I'm driving slow...
any suggestions or answers from the forum

My Ride: '04 530d Executive, all options except sunroof and comfort seats
ECU remapped by ZipTuning to 260+bhp.
I've got an irritating squeek from my sunvisor (drivers side). It's not exactly under the dash, but you can check it.
(I've put a thick piece of tissue between the sunvisor and the roof and that stopped it)
