I have 35% all around and haven't had a problem with tickets. I live in California and have been pulled over before for other reasons but still no tint ticket

i have 20 on my car all but front window. my boy got 35 and it also looks good.. the 35 u can see him driving but it looks like a silouitte. my 20 u cant hardly see me unless the sun is bewating down. if u open ur sunroof visor it lightens it up more tho. i have tan interior so it also lightens it up. honestly after my buddy got 35 i kinda wish i went 35 but its really a slight diffirence

+1 Formula One Pinnacle 35% Ceramic Tint all around.

Don't cheap out on Tint, get a high quality tint for a high quality car!

I have 5% all around, which are limo tints on an alpine white e60. I personally like darker tints and there's nothing ghetto about tints.

ANY tint on the front windows is considered illegal in the state of California.

U'm going to be getting some tint soon too though!!

That's not true, front windows just need 70% visible light to pass through. Perhaps you mean windshield? That can't have any tint, but I don't think any state lets you tint the windshield below the visor fold.

How much and did you get it done here in NC? If so, where and issues with the installer?

The word "ghetto" doesn't have just one meaning in 2011, in this context it's usage should be pretty clear. Sorry if anyone doesn't like (or agree with) my opinion that dark tint looks "ghetto", but that doesn't make any of us right or wrong, it's an opinion. My opinion is that very dark tint is the opposite of "classy" and falls into the same category as big chrome rims, fugly spoilers, etc. It doesn't ruin a car of course, but for me it is a key component of making a car look like it is parked at night in the ghetto.
