My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
The Gtech RR switches between metric and US measures very easily and it does not effect the configuration information or measurements. I say this of course without actually having the unit yet - its in the manual

Hey..that's an idea! Have you ever thought about plugging in both your GTech and the GT2 at the same time and doing a few runs to see if there any discrepancies?
And, all, I am not changing my recommendation for using the GT2 for comparability, ease of getting important results, price, etc. But, Tesla, agreed to let me exchange my barely used Pro SS for the Pro RR that cd is getting--even though I received my SS in November. They apparently believed, correctly so, that I have barely used it because its data format really is relatively hard to deal with unless one has an AC adapter and downloads to a laptop. I decided that I want to be able to do some detailed analysis using the somewhat different data it provides on my laptop for both cars. On a day-to-day, more casual basis, I still will be using the GT2.
I will try to do a comparo between the two though. Should be interesting.
