Rudy, I wondered how they did that. Has anyone Rain X ed their HUD windscreen?

I think JDN has used Rain-X.

Had my HUD-windscreen replaced, due to 2 cracks ( no stone chips ), a month or so ago.

It works as good as the original one. No problems so far.

Hey, Rudy - now that's a good memory. I use Rain-X regularly with no ill effects on HUD. I can't find any reference to HUD on the windshield.

'Fraid not, Rudy. My Bimmer sat in my friend's garage while we did out annual tour to Camp Perry for the nationals in his diesel Dodge pick'emup. When I crawled back into the E60 after eight days and fired it up, I thought I had gone totally deaf.

It's probably better that you took the truck -- wouldn't want any riccochets to hit your baby!
