When I placed the tire and wheel in the wheel area it's to high and to wide. Doesn't fit in the area. It's a RWD.

Did you take out the massive foam thingys from the spare tire well? You can relocate the electronics.

Ideally, your spare tire has the same rotating diameter as your other tires. For an AWD car, it is imperative.

For a RWD car, it is still what you want, but the consequences are not as dire.

In an RWD car, different diameter front tires are benign. In a RWD car, different size fronts and rears are benign. In a RWD car if the two rear tires don't have the same rotating diameter, the differential is doing work *all the time* rather than just when turning. That can cause excess heat and wear in the differential. I don't know how highway speeds affect that wear and how much distance is too much distance.

For an AWD car, any tire that is mismatched from the others can also affect the transfer case.
