Just wondering if anyone has had this done? My dealership is quoting $275 to perform the cleaning. I have experienced rough idle at times like others, and thus far dealer has not been able to fix. Should I consider getting this done?

I don't know how many miles you have on your car but when I reported sluggish shifting on my car ('07 w/17K miles) the SA suggested injector cleaning. I declined. I use tier I fuel and take frequent highway drives or "hit it every now and then" to help keep its lungs clean.

I haven't given it a drink of Chevron Techron yet but will do that soon.

IMHO, unless you have bought "bad gas" or don't have the occasion to run it up every now and then I'd be somewhat suspect that you need de-carboning or injector cleaning. And, the last time my dealer quoted me that service it was about 1/2 the price you mention.

And, if you are experiencing occasional rough idle and no other faults are determined as your SA, "If the cleaning doesn't cure the problem, will I still be charged?" That might motivate the dealer to do another diagnosis.
