I know there is another thread about which gas you use for your E60. I noticed a lot of posts about "Shell V-Power", and it seems that in different markets it's all from 91 to 100 octane (here in Sweden it's 99 octane). Would it be better to drive V-Power 91 octane or "normal" 95 octane?

If you compare 92, 95 and 98 octane "normal" gas and 99 octane V-power, the price difference is substantial.

At the same time I'd like to feed my E61 with the best drug...

In the UK, there are 2 unleaded (95 RON and 98 RON). I used to feed it with 95 RON but recently I've changed to 98. What gets me is that it's 5p more expensive a liter (97p) but I can't feel NO difference in terms of performance or fuel consumption. 1 gallon can only cover 26 miles.

BTW, I had a E90 320d loaner today (first register on 6th Sept) and that can do 47 miles per gallon It's a good car but when I took mt 530i back, still think I've made the right choice They've fixed the door rattle finally.
