Front tensioner struts
I went into the dealership for an alignment since my car would wander/pull and they said it needs both front tensioner struts. Interestingly enough, they said it wouldnt be covered under CPO and its around $1300. Would these struts really cause the pulling problem or are they just trying to get some money? Since they claim its just a bar shouldnt it be covered under warranty since it wouldnt be a wear/tear item? If it really isnt covered under CPO then I'd rather jus take it to an indy shop and pay considerably less.

I think they are maybe the two diagonal struts which come from the top of the strut leg mounts inboard at 20 degrees towards the centre of the bottom of the windscreen, bit like traditional strut braces.
To be honest I would be very surprised if those needed replacing as they are solid non moving parts afaik, not subject to wear I dont think ??
I could have the wrong part of course ?
